THE CASTLE - Poem 24
White stone upon stone,
turret opposite turret,
tower with a narrow front
that peaks through the ivy,
a castle that looks at the sky
like one looking for a dream,
solitude still and quiet
that still hears the treds
of all the people of past,
large abandoned door
that offers its entrance to the world,
castle that looks at the sky
like one looking for a dream
