THE SILENCE - Poem 9
The silence made friends with the night,
hugging it
like a brooch
in a piece of cloth.
It told the stars that shined in its neckline
and gently,
one by one,
it began to conceal their glitter
between the branches of the forest.
The silence made friends with the night,
holding it tight
like the whorf
to the rings,
it pulled on the thread of its black dress
and sweetly,
little by little,
it began to unravel the cloth
that hid its feelings.
The silence mastered the night
wrapping itself
in it
like a sword
in its sheath,
it began to collect irises that swam in the rivers,
and anxiously,
little by little,
it poured its scent
over the sweat of its forehead. View All Comments Comments (1)
