this multimedia work results from the colaboration between myself and netherlands fine artist marian smit. the visual component is an edited excerpt of a larger collaboration between us called "within and beyond restraint". the poem is mine about a buto dancer i observed in amsterdam many years ago and the audio stream comes from the project i did with marian smit as well. it features the koto work of makiko goto from japan whom i met while residing in the netherlands...and her song bird...i organised the visual edits...
