A Noble Emergency
Upon the conscience pedestal, nobility shines as a high ideal, encased in the safety glass of sarcasm. In case of an emergency it can be admired. A relic of enlightened choice, of distinguished reason. An unpopular and elitist notion, a burden of honor, encouraging pride. An abomination of equality. To rise above the wildfires of instinct, you run with the pack… Alone. Watchfully discerning with a detached vigilance. Chewing food for thought as a nutritious treat, but the pack is swallowing the trash. Garbage is plentiful, they feed in a frenzy succumbing to sentient indigestion. The pedestal of nobility is too high, the mud of sarcasm demeans its shine. It must be brought low. Howling at the safety glass achieves nothing. Individuals, jump and reach as the pack nips at their heels. How dare you to think? How dare you to be different? How dare you to dare honor and demand nobility? Grasping air and gasping in passion. Cleanse the glass with honor. Nobility must be brought low! When nobility is the lowest common denominator, there can be pride in honor, and truth honored. Let the mud of sarcasm dry and flake away. Bring down the pedestal of nobility. In case of emergency…. Break the glass with honor and truth. View All Comments Comments (0)
