Those are Writing Words
Those are Writing Words! Punctuate this! Capitalizing poetry for beauty, over substance to please the eye. Edit a comma, a colon, a period. Why? It’s pretty and it flows, capturing visual prose. Imaginings stumbling, on poetic license bumbling, the critics are grumbling. What’s that? You're mumbling! Poets do as they please, look at e.e. cummings … Oh Geeze! Flouting tradition is all well and fine, capitalizing non-sentences, is blocking the mind. Do what you will, do it your way, learn from your readers, and what they may say. Above all have fun, but you’re not writing for one. Critics and readers like flocking birds, flitter and flap, sometimes they crap. Just clean up the mess and think, what you’ve heards, Ha ha, buck up and get down. Those are writing words! View All Comments Comments (3)
