How Do You Feel?

In the news today again,
millions of souls were captured by words in a
homespun language defining objective subjectivity.
Thoughtful thinking thrashed thoroughly
and going… thunk.

A brain bash of information gone a thunking,
gone spelunking in the caverns of humanity.
It echoes in the empty collective skull and bores the hell
out of reason. Logic be damned, passion trips the emo
switch, Oh my God! The sky is falling again!

Surfs up dude! Yeah…! The mish mash of reality breaks in
data waves and is ridden by anxious fingers on mouse pad
surf boreds seeking thunk fulfillment. You thunk, he thunk,
she thunk, we thunk, ca’thunk, ca’thunk, ca’thunk.

Reinforced thunking in a daily brain bash.
Happy crises gratifying togetherness in shared utopian
emo. A condescending righteousness upon Orwell’s
nightmare and Pogo’s legacy. It ain’t what you know.
