Caveman
Caveman by MrDaMan Virgil R. Hall II (Randy) I am a throwback. Jesus was a fisher of men and I was on the hook but I was too small of mind and full of diseased questions… he threw me back into the sea of humanity to sink or swim. Almost a caveman, with a lustful soul looking for a club with an edge. Survival should be more than bashing brains. A weapon with an edge has a civilizing effect, giving choice to the energy expended upon greed… err need. Racing against other tribes for dominance over the Earth I learned to crush the atom and blinded the face of God with science. He now has other fish to fry, the clubs edge has become fine, providing for consummation… fillet of soul. Not only can I walk, run and swim. I can fly… I reach for the stars with the point of the refined edge of my club, slicing gravity with brute force and stomp the moons airless dust with my boots. Hear me grunt…*grunt* Embrace me father for I have grinned, my sins have achieved a profound arrogance. I delight in sharpening my club, and swinging it in precision. Dicing angels on the head of a pin, and blasting the heavens with seeking eyes. Yes… I am searching the voids between the souls of stars. You threw me out of the garden, into the brambles and thorns, an abused child burned and bruised by knowledge. I have sympathy for the devil and you are silent. My whetstones are worn sharpening the blunt edges of my club, ready to confront the face of God. Your child of tough love is not remiss on the hard lessons of living. But you MUST answer for the dying father… I insist! View All Comments Comments (0)
