Woman in the corner
Sitting alone in a dark corner Candle lit on the table A woman takes a drag of her cigarette The smoke encircles her A man says to her "You look angelic" She takes another drag, blows the smoke towards him as the candle flickers "I am no angel" she says quietly Her eyes turn away from him for a moment And the man approaches her "Can I buy you a drink?" Slowly she takes a long drag and blows it towards him and the smoke goes all around him as she disappears The man stands there in amazement He says out loud "Where did she go?" The bar tender asks "Who are you talking about sir?" The man answers "The woman that was in this corner!" The bartender looks at him confused and says "Sir, no one has been at that table all night."
