Lazy daze a soakin the rays, I been a mind’n my ways in a foggy haze,
it ain’t just the jays, it’s the days that amaze,
the catfish are jump’n and the dogs in a craze…

And I think I’m in heaven again, I think I’m in for love’n tonight.

Yeah she’s the sweetest thing, when she walks the blue birds sing,
yellow hair like angels wings, and a tight derrier I love to watch swing,
come on baby gimmie dat thing, and when she smiles my heart goes zing,
this is gonna be more than a wild wild fling,
Cause when we kiss our love goes ching!

Ahh ummm there’s gonna be some love’n tonight.

Ummm yeah it’s the Dog days of summer nights,
Ummm yeah and mak’n love by firefly lights,
Ummm yeah it’s a honeysuckle buzz, and getting lost in that southern peach fuzz.
