Blood flows heavy on parchment
as the Soul writer inks empathy
out of the veins of humanity.

Perspectives of good and evil
lost and found on a trail of witness.
Dreams and reality mixed communicable.

Upon a dark horse… white…
shredding truth and lies
with insistent spurs gouging flesh.

With an angels eyes and a devils brow
leaning onward into the falling sky,
in command only of choice.

Knowing fear but denying the luxury
because going back is impossible.
Courage is today’s path to tomorrow.

Up in the saddle, spirit coated leather
chaffs the pleasures with doubts,
with confidence, with conscience.

Threatened with LIFE!
The Soul Rider draws holstered quills.
And tightens the noose, to hang demons on every word.
