Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas by MrDaMan Virgil R. Hall II (Randy) Easy to forget and hard to keep that innocence of yesterday. The winds of change flutter the memories and assail the years in gales of love and loss. As a snowflake melts warmly a child’s smile fades into adulthood. Mothers cookies transform into Grandma’s treats and Pa…pa wants to play. Christmas trees and birthday balloons sweet sixteen and acned buffoons colleges and crazy saloons working hard to favorite tunes blazing suns and many moons. Under the whether and over the line, claiming innocence at the scene of the crime. But it was lost… some time ago… In making up what we don’t know, but there is… Christmas. Pine trees and red bows, angels wings and Rudolph’s nose, the scent of Grandma’s cookies and Pa..pa’s clothes, stories of mangers and twinkling toes, cousins and uncles and sisters and bro’s. It’s Christmas! At the end of a year lost, something is found, we wrap up our love and pass it around. With hugs and with kisses we take time to pause, reclaim our innocence, and believe… in Santa Claus. It’s Christmas! It’s Christmas… Merry Christmas! View All Comments Comments (2)
