Semantic Imagination
Semantic Imagination by MrDaMan Virgil R. Hall II (Randy) Words, words everywhere and not a thought to think. It’s such a clever amusement arranging concepts between the lines of metaphors theatrically speaking. Grinding the axe of your own executioner… Bringing the hammer down and sounding out phonetically the pain in your thumb. And love… ha! Love is hitting the nail on the head! Splintering wood with steel and rusting in the rain. Building a precarious nest so you can push innocence out. Where it will fly… or die. Yeah… The cats got your tongue, but the words clump to your fur, in your throat like constricting tears. Speak or forever hold your peace… Come on… speak, speak like a good dog with a tail wagging vocabulary and bared teeth. You could go… barking mad! Or not… Semantic imagination could be a glue that holds it all together… a temporary sanity. A communicable disease with a cure or at least a treatment for spelling out the symptoms. Pull a word or two out of the air and tape them to a page so they can’t escape. Grab a few more and attach them to a concept… Watch them squiggle between the lines. Captured insanity looking for a pattern… Entertaining little buggers aren’t they? Words, words everywhere and not a thought to think… View All Comments Comments (2)
