Time To Eat

A chili dinner is being
served at two stations – one has a
long line of people patiently
waiting their turn while the other
is a mass of confusion and
delight with my dearest friend there
bumbling around with a big steel
container dishing out servings
to folks seated at the table.
I smile to myself watching this
willy nilly approach and I
join in playing the fool, “Hey, now -
you should go back to butler school.”
