this is a compilation of my visual poems, its not realy a poem , but it could be viewed as a conceptual visual of the insane mind, (tried to place it on youtube but they wont accept it haha, so thought i,d put it on here) ALL PROPS, i.e. fake blood in pipette behind knife,jiblets from game hunting,etc,NOTHING ILLEGAL! jolly good vid old boy:)

Another clip of "Poetry of the People" (POP) Series featuring Dr. Frank L. Meyskens, Jr. of University of California, Irvine. In this poem, entitled "Pulling the Trigger", Dr. Meyskens deals with the difficult, even controversial issue of euthanasia, more specifically doctor assisted mercy killing, and shares with us his personal views on this too. Dr. Meyskens is a sensitive and caring physician who, in the course of his ministrations, deals with the issues of life and death of his patients.

A continuation of our "Poetry of the People" (POP) Series featuring the poetry readings of Dr. Frank L. Meyskens, Jr. In this clip, Dr. Meyskens reads 3 more poems: "Send and Receive", "Savior" and "Relapse" all of which deal with the emotional reactions of a patient upon learning of his or her medical condition from the attending physician.

His collection of poems published in a book entitled "Aching for Tomorrow" focuses on what really happens to people as they become patients, and the relationship between patient and doctor / caregiver, from the first encounter through ongoing care.

Dr. Meyskens is a practicing Oncologist and Professor of Medicine and Biological Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine, where he is also Associate Vice Chancellor of Health Sciences and Director of the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. He lives in Irvine, California, with his wife, Linda.

Your "it" just might be all that I crave most, or all that I have settled for instead, or what will keep me in my shame engrossed. How easy it would be, the letting go. "Why Not?...A little... Just this once...I can." The old familiar senses I still know. But then I'd have to face "it" once again. Do you know what MY "it" still means to me? My "it" is one sane thought in my sick mind. My "it" is my last chance to be set free. Excuse me, Fuck your kindness so unkind. You couldn't say so, if you knew my lot. When you say, �It's worth it." I say, "It's NOT!"
