Hello all your creative writers and minds. Here is an original film clip I have created waiting for you and the community to write the poem in a collaborative effort for it. The poem will be recorded and the final film will be submitted to "The Festival Of Visualized Poetry"

I am a widely published poet (with 7 collections of written poetry and 7 CDs of oral poetry). I have been making video poems since 2002. I have won many prizes and honors for these video poems despite the fact that the academic poetry community does not recognize them at all. I have gone through several evolutions in the past 6 years that have resulted in the type of video poems in MY MEDIA. There are hundreds more on youtube under soulspeakspring. I AM STILL EVOLVING. What I see right now on POETRY VISUALIZED are video poems that still have one foot in the written world and only 1/2 FOOT IN the AUDIO/VISUAL world. THE OTHER 1/2 FOOT IS LOST SOMEWHERE IN THE CONFUSION. I have been thru the stages most of you are currently in, AND WOULD BE GLAD TO PASS ON WHAT I KNOW, AND TO HEAR YOUR OWN THINKING. A group for people who are creating poetic videos... especially creative ones, not just reading on camera. This is a fledgling popular art form and this might be a good nesting ground for it.
