The movie that played in my mind when I wrote this piece was that of an absentee father whose work took him to witness the problems of the world, only to find out when he retired home that he himself had spawned a gap in his own family simply by living what he had witnessed to be a world-wide...

This is a revised movie of a poem I made in answer to a challenge posed by another author (Tansel) to come up with a less than 100 word poem for snippets (trailer ?)from a film he made. Tansel's film clips had to be bookended with videoclips of my own to give the poem a coherence.

This is the revised video of Crystal Dawn's poem as part of a collaborative effort which began with her visual interpretation of my poem ("Ode to A Wounded Eye").
